Director of Retail Grupo Lar
Sergio García has extensive experience in the commercial real estate sector. He began his professional career at Sonae Sierra where, for two years, he held different positions within the Operations area, such as leasing manager and marketing manager in three of its shopping centres in Spain. He went on to develop his career for over eleven years in Unibail Rodamco, assuming various senior management positions: director of the Parquesur shopping centre in Madrid; management director of SCs Spain and, in the final stages, senior director of development projects.
He holds a degree in Business Studies from the University of Oviedo, a postgraduate degree in Strategic Marketing Management from ESADE and, in 2021, he completed the Advanced Management Program at IE Business School.
He joined Grupo Lar in April 2017 as Director of Asset Management for the Spanish Retail portfolio. In September 2020, he was appointed Retail Director and is currently responsible for the Asset Management, Development and Marketing and Technical Management departments in the area of Commercial Real Estate Spain.
