Board Member Proprietary Director
Mr. José Manuel Llovet Barquero has more than 30 years of experience in the Spanish real estate sector, having held key positions in leading companies in the shopping centers and retail parks, logistics and office sectors. He is currently CEO of Tertiary (Retail, Offices and Logistics) at Grupo Lar, a company he joined in January 2015.
Previously, he was Director of Retail Capital Markets Spain at JLL, after 12 years as Director of Investment Management at Unibail-Rodamco. He has also held senior positions in other companies such as SCCE and FCC.
Mr. José Manuel Llovet Barquero holds a degree from CUNEF, was a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), is president of the Asociación de Propietarios de Espacios Comerciales (APRESCO) and vice-president of the Asociación Española de Centros y Parques Comerciales (AECC). He has also been a member of the RICS Board of Directors in Spain and actively participates as a speaker at conferences, meetings and international trade fairs.
During his career, he has managed portfolios worth more than 5 billion euros of GAV, led transactions for more than 4 billion euros and developed prime assets with more than 300,000 sqm.
